Common Questions
How does the coaching work?
Coaching is personalized to your child and the life skills they want to work on. Sessions take place in your home or community and focus on practicing everyday skills in a relaxed, supportive way. We work at your child's pace, celebrate progress along the way, and build on each success as they become more confident and independent.
Is the coaching done in the home?
Yes. Most sessions take place in your home because that's where everyday life happens. Practicing skills in a familiar environment helps children apply what they learn in meaningful ways that carry over into their daily routines. As your child builds confidence, some goals may naturally extend into the community through real-life experiences such as ordering food, shopping, or running simple errands, always based on your child's goals and comfort level.
What are the goals of the program?
Every child is different, so every plan is personalized. Whether we're working on cooking, organization, communication, community outings, or daily routines, the goal is always the same: helping your child build confidence, develop greater independence, and believe in what they're capable of.

What if my child is nervous or resistant?
That's completely okay. Building trust is always my first priority. I meet each child where they are, move at their pace, and celebrate every small success along the way. Confidence grows through positive experiences, not pressure.
